The Ewi of Ado Ekiti, Oba Adeyemo Adejugbe  Aladesanmi lll has called for more dedication, commitment and purpose on the part of the people to achieve more in 2026.

Oba Adejugbe who made the call while rejoicing with everyone for a brand new year said all must work together to make 2026 an outstanding year. 

According to him, as tough as 2025 was, a great relief was experienced by all and sundry towards the  end of the year.

He noted things will get better in the new year 2026 if all hands are on deck to invent the wheel of peace and progress .

The traditional ruler appreciated the members of Ewi-in-council for making the hardwork of traditional administration and duties  look easy with their support and co-operation, urging them to ensure that the new year is another year of inspiration and productivity.

As the governorship election draws nearer in the state, the Ewi advised all stakeholders to work collaboratively to ensure a seamless campaign and pleasant election that will put Ekiti State on the world map as the best state for politicking and conduct of free and fair election without any acrimony and its attendant politricks.

Oba Adejugbe wished all a happy new year filled with good tidings.
