Ifaki Progressive Union UK and Ireland showcased Ekiti culture live in Sheffield, with the President of Ekiti Parapo UK, Comrade Olamide Idowu, in attendance.

Comrade Idowu reaffirmed his commitment to fostering unity among Ekiti people in the United Kingdom. He expressed delight that this years event was held in Sheffield, noting that unity among Ekiti indigenes in the diaspora is key to the development of our homeland. He also commended the current President of Ifaki Progressive Union for the success of the event.

In his address, Olamide made a humble appeal for all Ekiti people to join Ekiti Parapo UK, noting that registration has been made very easy via the organisations website. He further encouraged all Ekiti associations in the diaspora to continue supporting communities back home, as government alone cannot meet every need in Ekiti.
