The President of Ekiti Parapo UK, Comrade Olamide Idowu, on behalf of the Executive and the entire membership of the association, has extended warm felicitations to His Royal Majesty, Oba Adedayo Akande, Orokoyo-bi-Agbe II, the Olusi of Usi-Ekiti.

In his goodwill message, Comrade Idowu also felicitated the Olusi-in-Council, all Usi-Ekiti indigenes in the United Kingdom, the Executive of Egbe Omo Usi, the 2026 Usi Day Advancement and Project Development Committee, and all sons and daughters of Usi-Ekiti at home and in the diaspora on the occasion of the 45th Usi Day Celebration.

According to him, the annual festival remains a shining testament to the shared heritage, unity of purpose, and collective resolve of the people to advance the socio-economic and cultural development of Usi Kingdom.

"As we celebrate this 45th edition, may the occasion renew our commitment to progress, peace, harmony, and sustainable growth for our beloved Usi land," he said.

In a memo from the Office of the President, Comrade Idowu on Friday 31st July 2026, he stated that Usi-Ekiti holds a special place in his heart, being the town
