Members of Ifaki Progressive Union UK and Ireland gathered in Sheffield for their 2026 Summer Get-Together, a colourful occasion that once again highlighted the community’s well-known love for Emu Funfun.

The event was lively and well organised. Dedicated emu servers moved from group to group, attending to guests who wanted a taste of the fresh palm wine. Among those who enjoyed the hospitality was the President of Ekiti Parapo UK, Comrade Olamide Idowu, who joined other sons and daughters of Ifaki in savouring the traditional drink.

The atmosphere remained warm and festive throughout, reflecting the close-knit spirit of the Ifaki community and the wider Ekiti Parapo family.

Ifaki Progressive Union celebrated the 2026 Summer Get-Together in Sheffield with thanks to the Union President, Mr Olusayo Ajayi, and the organising team for a successful outing.
