Dear Esteemed Members of Ekiti Parapo UK,

On behalf of the Executive Council, I bring you warm greetings on this historic occasion of our Double Celebration.

Today, as we celebrate Nigerias 66th Independence Anniversary, we also joyfully celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the creation of our dear Ekiti State.

1st October holds a special meaning for us as Ekiti people. It marks not only the birth of our great nation in 1960, but also the birth of our beloved Ekiti State on 1st October 1996.

30 years on, we celebrate the resilience, industry, education, integrity and Omoluabi spirit of the Ekiti people. From our hills and valleys to the diaspora here in the UK, we have every reason to be proud of our heritage. 

As members of Ekiti Parapo UK, let this milestone renew our unity, our love for one another, and our commitment to the progress of Ekiti State and Nigeria at large.
