Comrade Olamide Idowu the President of Ekiti Parapo UK and the General Secretary of the organisation attended Nigerian Diaspora Direct Investment Summit (NDDIS) on the 24th of May 2024 a gathering of notable Nigerians who flew in from different countries to attend the event. They were joined by other  diasporians and British investors to discuss Nigeria potentials and investment opportunities many of which are yet untapped, attendees were encouraged to ensure that they join hands to drive investments to key into available opportunities under the present administration of President Bola Tinubu.

According to NDDIS, 17 million Nigerians in other countries are implored to set up their businesses in Nigeria by promoting Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) into the country. 

NDDIS also provides a platform for the identification of potential sources of Finance, Technology and Technical skills transfer that could boost the promotion and stimulation of enterprise and the creation of jobs in Nigeria.
