President Ekiti Parapo UK Condemns killings by unknown gunmen in Ado Ekiti.

It is with heavy heart that I condemn the killing of more than 3 people within 48 hours in Ekiti State.

Our beloved state is gradually slipping into an unexplainable state of insecurity.

I have warned several times that no government guarantees security without proper data collection, analysis and monitoring in relation to citizens businesses and other activities in general.

Security is one of the main reasons for having a government in place and I am calling on the state governor to do everything within his power to fish out the perpetrators of these evil activities.

We must ask relevant questions, do we know all the people living in Ekiti State and what they do to survive.

Just less than a year ago, two notable kings of Ekiti state were murdered in a tragic incident, I do not think anyone has ever been arrested and sentenced to death in a court of law for taking another persons life.

All Ekiti law makers should support the government of Mr Biodun Oyebanji with needed legislative power to end insecurity in Ekiti State. Our government must get hold of the right information to secure lives and property of our people.

As we pray for the departed souls to rest in peace, we must be responsible to help the government to stop the trend of insecurity in the interest of our people.
