One of the founders of Ekiti Parapo Association in United Kingdom, Pa Olufemi Akosile popularly known as Baba Akosile within the organisation was given an award in recognition of his efforts and commitment to Ekiti people through Ekiti Parapo UK, an organisation that has been in existence for over 30 years.

The 2023 Presidential Award which was presented by Comrade Olamide Idowu, the president of Ekiti Parapo UK was received on behalf of Baba Akosile by Giwa Bola Faniku, the President of Ilawe Development Union UK.

Giwa Faniku thanked the Organisation for the recognition of Babas handwork, efforts and commitment to Ekiti and her people.

Baba Akosile is from Ilawe Ekiti in Ekiti South West Local Government of Ekiti State of Nigeria. Baba is blessed with children and a lovely wife, Mama Mopelola Akosile.  Mama and Baba Akosile are always happy to hear good news about the association they established with other Ekiti sons and daughters many years ago.
